Most of the team met up at the usual spot at 10:00hrs at Halbeath Park & Ride before heading to the Loch Centre Car park and meeting the others.
The trip was essentially a short scouting trip to kinghorn Loch to check out the Eco centre and facilities, and the hide set up for the kingfishers and other birdlife. The weather wasn't great, and towards the end of the Loch visit it started to bucket down so the second part of the visit to Petticur bay was postponed.
Lots of little pointers to take from the trip, including Thursday is the Chef's day off. Nevertheless an enjoyable short trip, with good coffee & carrot cake proving a popular substitute for the lack of bacon rolls.
