This trip was on home territory and we were fortunate with the weather. The festival celebrated Robert the Bruce’s 750th birthday and was held in the Glen/Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline.
The festivities included jousting, mock battles, Dunfermline City Brass band, medieval stalls and falconry. In addition there were activities aimed at a younger audience (bouncy castles and fair ground rides), food stations and local craft stalls.
A sizeable team from DPA attended in good time for the opening. The day started with coffee/tea and bacon butties in the Peacock Restaurant before heading off to enjoy all the festival had to offer. A few members remembered to take some photographs!!
A selection of the photographs taken by the team.
