As we look ahead to celebrating an incredible 100 years as a club, and wrap up our 2025/26 season, twenty-six members came together for our annual photography dinner at our much-loved Pitbauchlie Hotel.
It’s been a year of real renewal for the club, making the evening all the more special. We also took a moment to remember the sad loss of Dunfermline’s renowned wildlife photographer, Doug Allan, whose passing in Nepal was felt by many. Despite this, it was a warm, uplifting night enjoyed by all.
Our President, Gillian Temple, achieved an outstanding clean sweep of this year’s cups—an amazing accomplishment in our penultimate centenary year. Congratulations also went to our Safari competition winners: Blue Team (Summer) and Team Green (Winter), along with Dennis Penny, who took the honours in our first monthly digital competition. Good food, great company, and a raffle where everyone seemed to win made it a night to remember.
Now, excitement is building as we prepare to celebrate our official 100-year milestone on 26th May, with a special event to follow on 30th May 2026.
Here’s to a fantastic century—and the next one just beginning! 🎉
