Foresters Cottage - Wildlife Safari 22nd Aug
Our last trip of the summer was a particularly special one, as Club members Tina and Peter Boswell welcomed us to their wonderful bird hide and gardens at Foresters Cottage, in the heart of Fife.

We were greeted with wonderful coffee and cake before everyone disappeared into the expansive gardens, cameras at the ready. The gardens provided a fantastic opportunity to practise both macro and wildlife photography, with plenty of subjects to keep us busy. A wonderful collection of images resulted, some of which can be seen in the gallery.
After a successful morning of photography, Tina and Pete treated us all to delicious oven-baked pizzas, prepared in their custom-built stone oven. Naturally, there was time for more coffee and cake afterwards, followed by a final opportunity to explore the gardens and capture a few more images.
Eventually, it was time to leave Tina and Pete to enjoy some well-earned peace and quiet in their beautiful garden.
A wonderful day was had by all, and a fitting way to bring our summer programme to a close. Our thanks go to Tina and Pete for their generous hospitality and for sharing such a special place with us.
